The Spirit of Exploration
We are not one of those companies which takes you on a cruise and just hopes something interesting turns up. We have years of experience and local knowledge which we use actively to search for the great creatures of the sea and the region's wonderful sea birds.
We visit and continuously monitor the key offshore whale and dolphin feeding grounds. We maintain daily contact with the local fishing fleet operating in offshore waters. We know what's out there!
We can't guarantee that we will encounter whales and dolphins on every trip but you can be confident that when you sail with us you have given yourself the best chance of finding them.
Commitment to Conservation
We are committed to sustainable and responsible wildlife encounters.
We are an accredited Wildlife Safe (WiSe) Operator and we are the region's main contributor of whale and dolphin data to the Sea Watch Foundation.
Nick Davies, head of our company, is a researching marine zoologist and was invited to participate in the development of the Scottish Marine Wildlife Watching Code.
Unique Voyages
We are the only operator on the Scottish mainland to make regular cruises to the remote and magical Shiant Islands.
We offer specialist cruises, including Pelagic Bird Cruises which use Nick's expertise in offshore birds to bring you close to the numerous and diverse species found in Hebridean waters.
